The Signs and Symptoms of Cancer and Report Issues Early
Diagnosing cancer in its early stages is important for a successful treatment. Being familiar with how your body is normally will help you to spot any possible symptoms and to let your physician know as early as possible. There are some changes that will be associated with the beginning of cancer.
Being aware of your body will help you notice if any unexplained lumps do appear so you can report them quickly. A lump that turns out to be from cancer will most like have no pain. Having any lumps checked quickly is a way to catch something that could be a danger but most lumps are not related to cancer.
Infections and inflammation can cause excessive coughing or hoarseness and breathlessness but it is possible that it is from a cancer of the lungs. To be safe it is best to report these symptoms if they have persisted for more than a couple weeks. Always consult a medical professional if you have cancer symptoms or symptoms of colon cancer.
Stool that changes in color to something that is very red in color, contains blood or is uncommonly dark needs to be checked. When there is bleeding for no apparent reason it means there is something wrong and it needs to be check out. Nose bleeds and bruises are rarely cancer signs but if they are accompanied by other symptoms they need to be checked out. Consult your doctor if you have any cervical cancer symptoms.
Having moles does not necessarily mean you have cancer but they need to be reported. Losing weight when you are not trying is a signal that there may be something wrong and it is best to consult with your physician. The bottom line is if you notice something unusual or have any concerns it is best to report it immediately. Keep in mind that the greatest chance you will have to have successful treatment if you do have cancer is to get help as early as possible.
