Beginner Piano
If you are looking for beginner piano lessons you might have never touched a piano before or you might be someone who had some classes when younger and would like to start anew. Which ever your situation, the way of learning will be the same.
You will find that there are many different methods to teach the piano or keyboards but in general they will all have to show you the same fundamentals. Today, a lot of students will be using some sort of electronic keyboards, the learning process for keyboards is the same as it is for the piano. The aim of many of beginners is to be able to play a bit in different styles, they might want to be able to perform classical, jazz, pop etc and many would like to be able to play by ear as well as read a little music too. They may also want to learn how to accompany singers and other instrumentalist.
This may sound a bit ambitious for a beginner but you really need to know your direction right from the very start. Within a relatively short period you will find that you can achieve all of the above.

Learn To Play Piano Keyboards
There is a method of teaching piano that I really love which is used by a home study course called ‘Piano For All’. I recently wrote a review for this course and will share with you my impressions.Fist off you are shown how to find all of the notes on the keyboard. This is worked through very quickly and then you are taught how to play an easy tune using all of your fingers. The melody is written out so you can see it and there is also a diagram of the piano keyboard reminding you where the notes in question are
All this will take only a very short time. After this you are shown the three notes that make up a basic chord. To play the chord you are given a simple little rhythm to play. Next you are taught how to play the first note of the chord with your left hand only a little further down the keyboard which forms the bass line. They give you a rhythm for the bass note and suddenly you find yourself playing a musical phrase that sounds good and isn’t difficult to play at all.
Here is a comparative review on the Best Piano Courses available.
Once you have this feeling easy to play, which will be almost straight away, you will then be taught a few more simple basic chords. Once you know a few chords you can play them changing from one to another in order and you will discover that you are playing genuine piano songs or accompaniments. If you learn to play using this method you will discover that it is really quite easy and this will give you confidence in your playing leaving you with a taste for more. Moving on through the course you are taught some more rhythms and a few more tunes and chords. In no time at all you find yourself advancing as a piano player and musician and with each lesson the playing sounds more and more authentic.
In my opinion this way of learning is one of the best as it encompasses playing many styles of music from classical to pop, rock, jazz and gospel. It will also show you how to read music, how to play by ear and how to improvise.
